Article Processing Charge
Starting from March 1, 2025, every publication in Journal Borneo will incur a fee as part of our initiative to enhance the journal's management. This fee adjustment is established to achieve more optimal editorial process targets, which are as follows:
- Initial Evaluation by Editor: Within 7 days from submission.
- Review Process: Within a maximum of 30 days from submission.
- Publication: For eligible manuscripts, publication will be completed within 3 months from submission.
Fee Structure:
- Submission Evaluation Fee:
Rp200,000 (covers the evaluation of format compliance, scope, plagiarism check, and overall suitability). This fee can be used for up to 2 submissions (if the initial submission is rejected). - Publication Fee for Approved Articles:
Rp300,000 per article.
Special Fee Waiver for Kaltara Affiliates and Partner Institutions
As part of our support for academic collaboration and local research empowerment, Journal Borneo applies a special fee waiver policy:
- Authors from Politeknik Kaltara or institutions with a formal collaboration agreement (MoU) must only pay the submission evaluation fee (Rp200,000).
- No publication fee will be charged for accepted articles from these authors.
To claim this waiver, authors must submit:
- An official email address, OR
- Proof of institutional affiliation or MoU reference
